Moving towards Making Pulp and Paper Sector Water Secure and Sustainable was the underlying theme of the Second edition of the Conference on Pulp and Paper in 2017.
The second edition focused on understanding the new regulations and guidelines by tribunals and the need to incentivize water conservation.
The need to reuse water, implementation of scientific Decision Support Systems and technology upgradation was emphasized during this conference and stakeholders agreed to adopt a multi-dimensional approach in partnership with the Government.
