CII 2nd Conference on Urban Water Management

The Theme of the Conference was “Towards Innovative, Sustainable and Climate Resilient Solutions”
The broad objective of the Conference was to deliberate on the integrated approach for urban water management.
The Conference were majorly focused on the following aspects:
- Water savings- Increasing efficiency in the distribution and supply of drinking water
- New technologies and infrastructure for wastewater management
- Non-potable water usage in the urban scenario
- Alternate water management strategy
- Public participatory approach
- Decision Support Systems (DSS) for pluvial flood risk management
- Learnings from National and international Good Practices
- Impact of wastewater disposal on freshwater sources
Summit would also witnessed felicitation of Winners of CII National Awards for Excellence in Water Management, 2022. The good practices adopted by the shortlisted companies, participating in the National Water Awards was also showcased by the company representatives.
